Russ Young
I’m the owner and a full-time trainer at Bearhawk Fitness. I’ve been a passionate coach since 2007, and I’m blessed to have worked with 100’s of clients and athletes over my career. When I can slip away from work I enjoy golfing, oil painting and fishing the Betsie River. Nothing is more important to me than spending time with my family. I am married to my beautiful wife Paige, and we have two daughters - Emersyn and Addison - who're our whole world.
I’m the middle of 5 kids and we are fortunate to be close. So much of what I do and how I do it is from watching my parents. They are selfless, gritty and persistent and that’s how I strive to be in training and beyond. I’d like to dedicate this to my Mom, who is no longer with us but looks down from above. I love you and will continue to practice what you instilled in me.

Paige Young
I’m a personal trainer, registered nurse, and health coach with a deep passion for helping others achieve their best, most balanced lives. As a wife and mother to two beautiful girls, I understand firsthand the challenges of juggling family, work, and personal well-being. That’s why I’m dedicated to guiding others on their health journeys—not just through fitness and nutrition, but by taking a holistic approach that nurtures the body, mind, and soul.

When I’m not coaching or caring for others, you’ll find me out on the water boating, enjoying peaceful walks, or making memories with my family and friends. I believe that life is about balance—staying active, making time for joy, and fueling our bodies with what they need to thrive.
